112 Awards Ceremony 2017



Each year, the 112 Awards Ceremony rewards outstanding individuals and organisations dedicated to improving and promoting the European emergency number 112. In 2017, the winners will be honoured at the 112 Awards Ceremony organised in conjunction with the EENA Conference 2017, to take place in Budapest, on 5 April 2017.

The Call for Applications is now CLOSED.
Who could participate?
  • We invite emergency services from all over Europe to embrace the challenge and participate in the competition in order to bring to the limelight their major contributions to saving lives.
  • Companies are also welcome to encourage their daily partners to participate.


Which are the categories?

- Remarkable PSAP Achievement award

The award will recognise an extraordinary accomplishment made by a PSAP or an administration in the field of emergency calls that contributed to the safety of citizen(s) and to the progress of public safety. This may include a major reform of the emergency call handling process, the modernisation procedures, the development of new tools to address major issues related to emergency calls, a remarkable management of a crisis or disaster, a notable cooperation between emergency services in different regions or countries, and so on (list not exhaustive).

- Call-taker / Dispatcher of the Year award

The award will recognise a caller taker, dispatcher or rescuer who contributed to save one or several lives by an extraordinary act of bravery and responsibility.
