Context of the event:

The Roundtable was organised jointly by EENA, the European Emergency Number Association, the Special Telecommunications Service (STS) of Romania and Radio Romania. It gathered about 200 participants from Romania and from many European countries.

The debate allowed Romanian stakeholders to discuss issues and challenges and to benefit from European best practices and international experience. The Roundtable aimed at providing the Romanian emergency authorities with a roadmap on how to best tackle the challenges related to the functioning of the European emergency number 112 and emergency services in general.
