One of the core businesses of Siemens IT Solutions and Services is Emergency Management, from consulting and design up to the installation of systems, operation and maintenance. Its Emergency Management Competence Center is currently staffed with highly qualified and experienced professionals, who also participate in R+D+i projects, which are an essential part of the business for Siemens in general and Siemens IT Solutions and Services in particular.
Siemens IT Solutions and Services has implemented Emergency Management solutions for different agencies, which include different Emergency Service PSAP and Call Centers, both for the general 112 coordination and for agency-specific emergency coordination.
Our systems provide an integral emergency management solution for all the stakeholders of the emergency response (call-taking, dispatching, incident follow-up, response and agency coordination, quality assurance, supervision, administration, management, and so on), and have a proven track record in crisis situations or big emergencies, such as the Madrid Bombings in March 11, 2004.
