Issue 3, Special Conference 2003

The site of this major event has now been updated. Although we are still expecting some speakers and companies to confirm their participation the Conference program is almost finalized. An updated guide in the form of a Handbook for Exhibitors and Attendees is also available.

If you want to participate in this major event please be informed that you have to confirm your participation by filling in the appropriate forms (available on the site) before the 14th of November to ensure hotel room reservation.

If you plan giving a presentation at the Conference, hurry up and send the abstract and the full text and/or Powerpoint presentation before the 14th of November 2003 in order to ensure inclusion in the printed program and the Proceedings CD-ROM.

EENA participated in the Seminar on Consumer Protection: "Maximum Harmonisation : Consumer Detriment or Consumer Benefit ?" organized by EURO COOP - the European Community of Consumer Co-operatives. EENA presented its contribution to the consultation on Services of General Interest (31 October 2003).

EENA participated in the EU - Civil Protection Workshop on "Civil Protection Information for Europeans on holidays" held at Chios island, Greece (31 October - 2 November 2003).
